Cyberpunk 2077 comes with some special RTX Features.

If you are not familiar with Cyberpunk 2077 . It is a Sci-fi adventurous game developed by CD Projekt Red. Nvidia and the Developer confirmed while launching the game on November 19 , it supports the key RTX features. But this feature is available only for the PC version, for the consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X this will be brought through a special update.

The Special Ray Tracing options in the game are:

1) Ray-Traced Ambient Occlusion.

This technique is used to properly give the light rays to shade the corners, cracks and crevices. With this technique the GPU can control the light intensity to be fallen on the specific point, and then it can add or remove light based on that result. This gives more details to the scene and making the scene more realistic.

2) Ray-Traced Diffuse Illumination.

This feature helps the light to change accordingly while moving through the objects or spaces. This makes it easier to determine how the lighting panels should behave when the light strikes.

3) Ray-Traced Reflections.

As far as the reflections are concerned , this technique is used to bounce back the image lighting in all kind of surfaces. This gives mirror and brushed metals a perfect quality.

4) Ray-Traced Shadows.

Shadows are only limited to light from the sun and moon. But this is a good start. This feature is great and perfect for the open-world game with a day-night cycle.

These reflections and shadows gives the dynamic and realistic quality to the game. Previously the game is only planned to use the ambient occlusion and diffuse illumination. Nvidia's higher end graphics cards like RTX 2070 Super and RTX 2080 Super can take this game to next level. But still this game is not supporting Ray-Traced Global Illumination. We should wait for the game to arrive, whether it is playable on the entry level graphic cards.
