Google joined hands with CBSE to encourage "BLENDED LEARNING"

The Corona Virus pandemic has caused a huge impacts on every sector, among them all the Education sector is the one which has been hit hard. This is a very difficult and confused scenario for both the students and the teachers. Several organisations are taking huge steps to solute the difficulties. The american based Multinational company Google has also added in the list now.

Blended Learning

To support the education in India, Google joined the hands with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to encourage Blended Learning. The company tries to improve skill learning and the training of the teachers. During an online virtual event Google for India it was said that Google would produce 1 million teachers in 22,000 schools to improve the blended learning method. Blended Learning is the combination of online learning and a classroom approach.

Google for India 2020

During the online virtual event, the information shared by the senior country marketing director at Google India, that the tech giant is planning to release the blended learning experience across 22,000 schools with in the end of 2020. To train over a million of teachers the company owned free tools like G Suite for Education, Youtube and Google Classroom are used to enhance the teaching experience.

Google also announced that the Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) will receive a 1$ million for the lower income people working in Google.org. This huge sump of total is used to enlighten over 7,00,000 teachers over the next year. They will be trained in a digital space. The company also helps the students who do not have a internet connection, living in the remote village areas through the mode of TV, Radio and other mass media platforms. It is also said that Google's current investment is a part of their $10 billion ( roughly around Rs.75,000 crores) investment plan over the next 5 to 7 years in India.

Recently Facebook has also announced, its partnership with the CBSE board to launch a certified curriculum in the Augmented Reality (AR) mode for students. The social media giant targets to teach a total of 40,000 students.

It is to be noted that various organizations are giving their helping hands for the students, especially where the countries like India, New Zealand and Canada having a  higher student population.
