Why many people are talking about the latest Motorola's Edge S ?

Motorola Edge S is one of the flagships with some amazing specs in a very reasonable price point. Also the company has not tweaked much in the OS and giving the user a stock experience. Now most of the smartphone manufacturers don't give stock android in their budget or midrange smartphones, if they give most of the times they tend to cut down the specifications. But in this smartphone it is a kind of different story.

Now let us look at the specifications of the Motorola Edge S :

REAR :

Starting of with the design, this device offers a reflective radiant Glass back which is a good thing ( even the Samsung Galaxy S21 offers only plastic back.) It seems to appear four cameras at the back but actually there are only three and the fourth one is a TOS (Time Of Light Sensor). The Primary sensor is 64 Megapixel, 16 MP Ultrawide and 2 MP Depth sensor is present at the rear.

FRONT :

In the front you see a 6.7 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with the aspect ratio of 21:9. This aspect ratio is quite common in the Sony smartphones. The games like Call of Duty can take advantage of the 90 Hz Refresh Rate. Also the display is HDR10 certified. There are two punch holes in the front embedding a selfie shooter of 16 MP and an 8M Ultrawide sensor. Since there are two punch holes it may be little distractive while watching the videos. 

CHIPSET :

The main attractive part about this smartphone is the chipset paired. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. It should be noted that this chip is a refreshed version of  Snapdragon 865+ and it can give a topnotch gaming performance. 

BATTERY AND OTHER FEATURES :

The presence of 5000 mAh battery can easily last a day long and for charging a 20W adapter is given inside the box. A fingerprint sensor is present in the power button. Moto has additionally provided an extra button which you can easily remap for opening any app. This device has a 3.5mm headphone jack which now most of the smartphone manufacturers tend to avoid. It also has a Hybrid sim slot we can either use dual sim or a sim and a SD card. As said earlier Moto has let the software to be stock without adding any bloatware.

(RAM /STORAGE) AND COLOR OPTIONS :

This device is available in ( 6GB/128 GB , 8GB/128 GB , 8GB/256GB ) variants. In terms of color it is available in Blue and Silver. 

PRICING :

This device starts at 1999 Yuan ( 22,000 INR / 310 USD ) in China.

Will the Motorola Edge S  launch in India?

Yes, the Motorola Edge S will probably launch in India within the April 2021. These are only speculations and we are yet to hear the confirmation officially from Moto.

Nvidia launched it's new RTX 30 series GPUs.

Courtesy: Nvidia Last Tuesday Nvidia launched it's next generation 30 series RTX graphic cards. The company launched the cards in three variants RTX 3070, RTX 3080, RTX 3090 . These cards are built based on the Ampere architecture while the former RTX cards are based on the Turing architecture. Nvidia also claims that these cards offer 2X  power than the previous generation cards.
